Indexing high on independence as well as appetite for change, while they may seem destructive at first glance, in fact they play a very important role in renewing and revitalizing our world. The perennial teenager, these are the anti-heroes who keep a society from becoming ossified, corrupt and complacent by challenging authority, defending individuality and zigging while others zag. Sometimes operating as free agents fighting for their own freedom, and in other cases, for the greater good, they are not afraid to stand up to big—big business, big government and other big institutions – on behalf of the “little guy.”
