The Wizard

The Wizard archetype family seeks to understand and manipulate the very forces of nature. Humans have an innate need to connect to the spiritual. This was the role of the original wizards, shaman and sorcerers who evolved into priests and ministers. They then branched off into alchemists who mixed spirituality with technology. And today they are the scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians (the whole range of STEM) inventing our future in labs around the world. Geniuses and madmen and women, they are agents of change and (hopefully) progress that bring us closer to the divine.
