The Sage

The Sage does not merely seek knowledge, but truth. Knowledge depends on information, which is temporal. Truth is universal and immutable and therefore the source of wisdom. Often times a “shaman” in ancient societies, the Sage is not simply someone who is well-read, but someone who combines hard-earned experience with inner reflection and a deep connection to humanity. For this reason, they become oracles of wisdom and often find themselves in strategic, coaching or therapeutic roles—providing discipline, insight and guidance to others. This includes being a mentor to the Prince and “the Hand” to the Chief.
