The Missionary

The Missionary’s purpose is to spread love and charity to the most vulnerable and the least fortunate. Classically affiliated with the church, they may not have a religious foundation, but they still share a sense of spirituality based on our common humanity. While they can be eloquent with their words, they are much more about the deeds. They roll up their sleeves, dig into the trenches, with determination and love to spread compassion, community and social justice. They are heroes in their own right, willing to sacrifice themselves for higher ideals and the greater good. And they are mentors, helping others, not just through hand-outs but through hand-ups.
